Program Overview

The focus of the Complicated and Post-Surgical TMC Treatment (CCT-3) is on a more in-depth study of the temporomandibular joint and common disorders, especially disc displacements and joint hypermobility. Students will develop treatment strategies for patients who had orthognathic surgery and more complex pathologies and dysfunction.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

The course is designed for physical therapists and physical therapy assistants, dentists, physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners, and chiropractors. All participants are expected to participate in the hands-on portions of the courses.

The Cervical, Craniofacial & Temporomandibular Complex program consists of three 2-day courses:

Course CCT-I: The Sub-Occipital Complex
Course CCT-2: The Temporomandibular Complex
Course CCT-3: Complicated and Post-Surgical TMC Treatment

The courses must be attended in order. Each course can be combined with a two-day course in Orofacial Dry Needling offered by Myopain Seminars.
